I found the staff quite helpful. the location worked well. Everywhere i needed to go was within walking distance. my room, where the beatles once stayed, had a balcony and offered an excellent view. the breakfast was also quite good. I especially enjoyed the wide spread of options available.
The room sizes felt small relative to the price. the air conditioning system also seemed to have some issues. It was quite hot at night. also, there was a lingering smell of septic tank in the elevators, it was noticeable.

underwhelming stay at a central hotel

small bathroomlimited breakfast
The room i booked was a supposed 'superior double or twin room', but it felt quite small. the bathroom was especially cramped. I had trouble moving around comfortably. i also found the breakfast overpriced for the limited selection offered. The buffet lacked variety and some basic items were missing. frankly, it did not meet my expectations for the price i paid. There are definitely better options available.

I found the staff consistently helpful and kind! lavender at check-in was cute and efficient. she secured restaurant reservations for us and swiftly arranged for a room on a higher floor as requested. the canal view from our room was wonderful. I enjoyed watching the scenery.
I noticed minimal room service options. some hotel areas looked somewhat outdated. i also observed water leaking into a bucket in the hallway on the fifth floor during rain. This did not reflect a luxury hotel.

the restaurant provided a great experience with hospitable staff. i observed a premium local touch from the lobby to the rooms. the atmosphere contributed positively to my stay, so i will return.
